There is nothing we can say that will make the pain of Chade's passing go away but just know he will live on in our hearts forever. Many happy memories of Chade as a little boy at my moms house. He loved his Grandma Lucy and now she can watch over him again. Sorry we could not make it to Illinois due to work commitments but if there is anything we can do please let us know. We think of you often. It has been a rough year with too many goodbyes. Lets hope next year is better for all. Love Bill & Brigitte

We send our prayers and sympathy to all family members. I met Chade at Salvatores when he worked there. I know a good person when I meet one and he was a very good person and loved family. Sam and I teased him a little and he would give it right back. What a hard worker he was. God bless you and keep you close Chade.

On behalf of the Pastoral Staff here at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, I wanted to convey to the whole family our deepest condolences on the passing of Chade into eternal life. Monsignor Bliss and I were glad to have the privilege of offering the Sacraments to Chade, and assisting him and the whole family in prayer during this most difficult and painful time.

We pray that the Lord and His Holy Mother may be with you in a special way during this time of sorrow, reminding you always that by God's grace, we all look forward to eternal life beyond the grave... and to be with Chade once more in the joy of heaven.

Eternal rest grant unto Him, O Lord, and let perpetual Light shine upon him. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

I did not know this young man but I wanted to offer my condolences to his family. 20 years old is much too young to be taken from this life. I have 2 children in their 20's and I would be devastated if something ever happened to either of them. May God bless your family and be with you at this difficult time. I will keep Chade and all of you in my prayers.

I had the pleasure of meeting this young man on two occasions earlier this year. I had ordered pizza for my family and both times sat down in the dining room for the order to be filled. Both times he came over and talked to me after my food was in the oven. We had discussed catering for my family parties over the holidays. He was concerned about his Grandfather's health. I was impressed by his maturity beyond his years. I don't know what happened to him, but feel bad for his family and friends who lost someone very special.

I just wanted to say that Chade will never really die. We all will remember him in our hearts as that little boy that loved to goof around and make everyone laugh. I know it was not his time to leave us but he will be remembered by everyone who loved him on both sides of the family for many different things. Just know he is watching over us all and that he will live on in our hearts and minds. My deepest sympathy to all of the family, The Mettilles, The Alfanos and his friends! He loved you all.
